There is a Charity Ball at Gisborough Hall, Guisborough to raise funds for the church roof and new build. Tickets at £35 includes a drink at reception, a three course meal, wine at the table, a charity auction and lots of dancing. Tickets can be bought at St Cuthbert’s Church. Dress code: black tie

Screening of the film ‘I Daniel Blake’, 16th February 2017
There will be a Community Screening of the film I Daniel Blake, which will take place on Thursday 16th Feb, 7.30pm, at The Trinity Centre, North Ormesby TS3 6LD. The event is being hosted by Together Middlesbrough & Cleveland.
Following the film there will be refreshments available with an opportunity to take part in conversations around the issues the film raises. The event is free, donations welcome on the night to cover costs & refreshments.

During this friendly and interactive 1 hour session, you will increase your understanding of dementia and think about the small things that you can do to make a difference to people affected by dementia in your community.

Please note that this session has had to be cancelled at short notice.
An open session of dementia awareness, accredited by the Alzheimer’s Society, will be held at 12:30pm, Sunday 15th January 2017, at St Cuthbert’s Parish Church, Church Lane, Ormesby, Middlesbrough. The session last about 1 hr.
Dementia training to accredit people as Dementia Friend’s and support people living with Dementia in maintaining their spirituality and faith.
At the end of the session you will be given your official badge to wear with pride.
