Sunday 1st October 2017 is our Harvest Festival, there will be two services:
9:00am Holy Communion
10:30am Family Service
This year we would like only non-perishable gifts that are to be donated to local good causes – Christian Centre, and Women’s Refuge.
Collections from our Services will be donated to the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Mustard Seed Appeal, aimed at creating a more just financial system to help millions of people who struggle with money problems. Following successful pilot work in two regions, money is now needed to nationally roll out this scheme.
More information is available at Mustard Seed Appeal.

With your help we can continue to grow this vital work into a movement that changes lives.
We are hosting an initiative, launched by the Church of England, to help bring people together to talk about those big questions about death, dying and funerals in a relaxed café style environment.
‘GraveTalk is a café space to talk about death, dying and funerals. It is organised by the local church and can be held in a hall, a home or a real café. At each event a pack of GraveTalk questions are distributed – there are 52 specially written open questions which get people talking about death, dying, funerals and loss. There are no answers, just conversation. And it’s open to people of all faiths and doubts.’
Here for everyone, organising a funeral, going to a funeral, after a funeral, my funeral plans or anyone with questions about death, dying or funerals. Light refreshments will be served at this event.
