In 2025 we start a new electoral roll for the church. This new roll will be valid for 6 years, until the next electoral roll is created.
Everyone on the old roll will need to reapply to be on the new roll using the application form. These are available at the back of the church, while the new roll is being created, or you can download a copy of the form (PDF) here any time after the 2025 APCM. They can be obtained from the Electoral Roll Officer throughout the next 6 years for anyone who qualifies and wishes to be added to the roll after the new roll is created in time for the APCM.
All who worship regularly at St Cuthberts Church and who are 16 years of age or older and meet the eligibility criteria on the form, should complete an Electoral Roll form. It is the basis of Anglican statistical returns and affects Deanery and Diocesan representation in our system of Church government.
Entry on the Electoral Roll entitles a person to participate fully in the church, if you wish to you can become a member of the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and are entitled to vote for your Church Wardens, and representatives of the PCC and Deanery at the Church’s Annual Meeting (APCM).
Once you have completed the form, please return it to the Electoral Role Officer, or give it to a member of the church leadership team to pass to the Electoral Role Officer.
