There will be a book sale of local history books on the 17th June 2023 at St Cuthberts Parish Church, Church Lane, Ormesby in aid of repairs to the church tower.

Love Local at Ormesby Hall – Saturday 17th June 2023

St Cuthbert’s Church Ormesby will be open on Saturday 17th June from 10am-4.00pm to coincide with Love Local at Ormesby Hall. There will be a booksale of local history books in the Church. They will all be very reasonably priced. So come and buy into your Teesside history and at the same time absorb the beauty and quiet of this Church of ancient heritage.
All proceeds from the booksale will go to help fund the necessary repairs to the Church Tower.
Marathon Organ playing in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, 26th May 2023
Sponser church organist Diane as she plays the church organ to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Morning Coffee and refreshments will be available.
Coronation Weekend 6th to 8th May 2023
Sunday 7th May: A Service of Holy Communion, in thanksgiving for the Coronation of King Charles III
All are welcome.
Monday 8th May: Parish Coronation Celebration in the church from 12noon.
Bell ringers ringing a Quarter Peal from 12noon followed by general ringing.
Coronation Afternoon Tea served from 2pm to 4:30pm
Tickets, £5, for afternoon tea available from Janet Danks or Elaine Boyle (church wardens) or at the door.

Saturday 06th May: Ormesby Library will be streaming the Coronation.
