Life Events: Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms
Christening and Wedding booking Sessions are held between 11am and 12noon each Sunday morning.
No need to book, just come along.
If you cannot make one of these Christening and Wedding Booking Sessions, then please use the online enquiry forms found on the Life Events pages of the church website (Life Events) or contact us by email or phone 01642 050687 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday 10am to 5pm). Please note that we will still need to meet you in person at one of the Open Sessions.

Become a Dementia Friend – Update
More open sessions of dementia training to accredit people as Dementia Friend’s and support people living with Dementia in maintaining their spirituality and faith.
The sessions are accredited by the Alzheimer’s Society, and at the end of the session you will be given your official badge to wear with pride.
The two sessions will take place at the Holy Trinity Centre, North Ormesby, and will be held on Thursday 10th March 10-12.30 and Tuesday 15th March 7-9.30 pm. There are 20 places for each session so please book a place via Heather Black or Maddy Fischer at the Holy Trinity Centre, North Ormesby, on 01642 286122
Become a Dementia Friend
An open session of dementia awareness, accredited by the Alzheimer’s Society, will be held on Tuesday 2nd February 10am at St Cuthberts’ Church, Church Lane, Ormesby. The session will be repeated at 5.30 pm. The sessions are 1.5 hrs each and are part of a government initiative to make towns and cities dementia friendly. The sessions are informative and will accredit each attendee as a Dementia Friend and you will be given your official badge to wear with pride.
This open session encourages the local community and their friends to attend.
Alzheimer’s Research UK presents #sharetheorange
Family Communion Service, Sunday, 31st January, 10am
Please note that there is only one Service, at 10am, on Sunday 31st January, the monthly, Family Holy Communion Service.
It is the feast of CANDLEMAS

Lent Group
There will be a Lent Group at the Vicarage on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. It will run from 11th Feb until 17th March. Please bring a Bible, notepad & pen/pencil, reading glasses(!) and a sense of humour!
As of last year, the invitation extends to anyone at St Cuthberts Ormesby and Holy Trinity North Ormesby.
